Formulating an Idea for your Perfect Structure

Rarley do we meet anyone whose vision is so clear that they couldn't use a little help. Our architect has over 20 years of experience working with people to help them develop their individual ideas. Through an interview process and aided by photos and sketches, he will guide you as the design unfolds into a unique and personal structure.

What is included in my Perfect Place project?

We provide all the services to take your idea from concept to the completed structure--this includes detailed architectural plans, obtaining permits (as necessary), exact material specifications, excavation, construction through finished details. Our proposal will give you a complete break-out of these steps, as well as a timetable for completion.

If you wanted to use a particular material in your Perfect Place, such as a special species of wood, wwe would be happy to work with you. We pride ourselves on our flexibility and take pleasure in creating distinctive buildings. Some materials stand up to the elements better than others. Because we want your structure to last for many years, we will offer you materials that are structurally sound and will stand the test of time.

Quote, Contract, and Deposoit

Once the architect has submitted the design, you will have the opportunity to review the designs and make changes if necessary. Only after you are completely satisfied that the plans are exactly what you want will we proceed. Quote, contract, deposit and schedules will follow in short order. Then we are ready to take your Perfect Places structure from concept to reality.

You will not need to arrange for any trades people. We are a full service, turnkey company. Licensed and insured trades people are all part of our team and are committed to putting their years of professional experience to work quality structures for you. Of course, we can collaborate with your trades people if you so choose.

Building Maintenace

The quality materials used in the construction of every custom-built structure require little maintenance beyond normal considerations. Certain design elements such as the ornate copper gutters or the hand-split Canadian cedar shakes actually look better with age. If desired, an occasional application of penetrating oil or a fresh coat of stain is usually all that is needed.
