Timber framing is a building process that has been utilized for over 2000 years! A timber frame forms the structural skeleton of our buildings. Much like a piece of fine furniture, it relies on precision cutting, fitting and "joining" of its members to form a strong and beautiful  structure. The large posts, beams and other wooden members are left exposed for all to admire.
